Feature Improvement: Mail Merge Fields and New Editor Look

Socket has had mail merge functionality for a while now, but admittedly, it wasn’t easy to use. Knowing which fields were available where, having to refer to the KB article to find the fields themselves. typing the dreaded # character, it was all pretty painful. We’re happy to announce that we’ve made this much better in our latest release!

Now, all available mail merge fields can be found in the toolbar of our new look editor:

This update makes it easier to drop-in-place mail merge fields anywhere the editor is found (with the exception of Items) to personalize Quotes, Emails, Checkout, and Online Quote Acceptance. We’ve also made improvements to the Labels & Messages interface which will now indicate which mail merge fields are available and where the change will occur:
