Quoter Product Update: Automated Quote Reminders

Sending the Quote does not mean your job is done! Depending on the complexity of what you’re selling, it may require several touchpoints before closing the deal. A touchpoint could be a scheduled meeting, phone call, email, DM, gift(?), or another form of interaction.

Sometimes the prospect just needs a reminder that the ball is in their court. Sending scheduled reminders automatically will take one less thing off your to-do list.

Sending a Quote

After a Quote is published, an email prompt will allow you to look over your email template, CC any additional recipients, and set your Automated Quote Reminder. The prospect may have feedback or change requests after reviewing a Quote but may wait for you to follow up.

📅 Automated Quote Reminders

With Automated Quote Reminders, you can schedule email reminders sent to a Quote recipient.

Email Reminder Settings:

  • 7 day reminder
  • 14 day reminder
  • 3 days before expiry
    • A default expiry can be set in your account settings or set at the Quote level

Once the Quote is accepted, all pending reminders will be cancelled.

The email reminders can be scheduled at the time of sending the Quote:

🧙‍♂️ Pro Tip: Add yourself as a CC or BCC to be included on sent reminders.

The email schedule can be checked on any sent Quote to see the status or to cancel a reminder:

Email Delivery and Tracking

In addition, our Email Tracking will allow you to confirm:

  • Any scheduled reminders
  • Email delivery history and opens
  • Email subject line and body
  • User attribution on the Quote history
    • For example, if a Service Tech created and sent the initial Quote, but a Sales Manager revised and sent a follow up. We would see user attribution on these actions.

Following up with your prospect after you send a Quote is crucial for shortening your sales cycle and improving your win rate. If no reminders are set, it leaves an opportunity for pending Quotes to go stale or take longer than necessary to close.
