New features and Improvements in Socket

Socket was developed with a customer-centric mind-set. We are always tracking fixes, improvements, and new requests from our customers and even other organizations who try Socket but don’t end up using it. In the spirit of continuous improvement, we have just rolled out the following:

Create Cover Pages for your Quotes

We now have added the ability to have a cover page and introductory section. Simply go to Manage > Quote Forms > Edit a Form > under the Content tab, you will find a place to insert a title and subtitle for you main page, and an introductory section which can be multiple pages of text, links, and images. Combined with the appendix options, which we already had, Socket is now conducive for preparing complete professional looking proposals for your clients.

 Send Emails, CC’s, & BCC’s to Multiple Recipients

Now sales reps who send quotes from Socket, can CC or BCC quotes to others or themselves. Further, if they want to send it to multiple people, we’ve added this ability as well.

Email Notifications to Multiple Recipients

Clients with resellers wanted to ensure everyone was informed when an order was received. Now we have added the ability to send automatic notifications to multiple parties.

We hope these features bring further value in using Socket in your organization. These features and improvement were all customer driven and we have a lot more on our roadmap which we are working towards. We’re looking forward to sharing them with you in the near future.
