New Feature: Restrict Item and Quote Template Discounts

In the aims of having more control over User activity, we’ve released a feature that allows you to restrict Item and Quote Template discounting for Sales Managers and Salespeople. You can find the setting in the Item or Quote Template Settings tab, when either creating or editing:

When creating a Quote with a non-discountable Item, Sales Managers and Salespeople will see the following:

Notably, the “Override Base Unit Price” and “+ Apply Discount” links are unavailable. During Quote edit, the unit price of an Item cannot be modified:

When creating or editing a Quote with a non-discountable Quote Template, the Quote level discount select will not be shown, and the discount code field on the public facing Quote request form will also be hidden.

Users with permissions above the Sales Manager level (Product Manager and above) will not see a change when creating or editing Quotes.
